About

Owner/Inspector Ryan Taylor worked in the fields of construction and construction education all his life.  He began as an apprentice carpenter as a teenager, moving on to custom woodworking in his father’s cabinetry business. Ryan joined the Monmouth County School System where he’s been a carpentry teacher for the past 12 years.  Ryan‘s knowledge and experience is ideal for serving the community as home inspector for potential home buyers.  

Ryan holds a Home Inspection License in the state of New Jersey and is also a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI®️), the world’s leading association in the field where he continues to stay up to date on industry standards.  He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and a Master’s degree from Seton Hall University.  

Ryan is a life-long Monmouth County local where he is raising his three children (Ava, Hazel, and Finn) with his supportive wife and partner Irene.  At R. Taylor Home Inspections Ryan serves his clients with the utmost care and respect, helping them to comfortably purchase their first or next home with a thorough and timely home inspection.
